Road to Southeast Mexico circuit

This 7-day circuit is a journey through the cultural and natural heart of southern Mexico, as you explore the rich history and traditions of some of the country's most emblematic regions!

Your journey begins in the historic city of Puebla, known for its stunning colonial architecture, colorful tiles and delicious cuisine. During your stay, you can explore the historic center, declared a World Heritage Site, visit the majestic Cathedral and the Temple of Santo Domingo with its spectacular Chapel of the Rosary. You can't leave without trying mole poblano, an iconic dish of Mexican cuisine. In addition, in September, the city dresses up to celebrate the Independece Day, which adds a special touch to your visit.

From Puebla, you will head to Oaxaca, a cultural gem with a deeply rooted indigenous heritage. The first day will be spent touring the city, known for its vibrant art scene, artisan market and unique cuisine, where mezcal and chapulines are the stars. The next day, you will explore two of the most important archaeological sites in the region: Monte Albán and Mitla. Monte Albán, the ancient Zapotec capital, offers spectacular views and a fascinating glimpse into pre-Hispanic history. Mitla, meanwhile, is known for its intricate stone mosaics and its importance as a religious center for the Mixtecs.

The journey continues to Chiapas, a state full of natural and cultural wonders. First, you will navigate the imposing Sumidero Canyon, where the high canyon walls and abundant wildlife will take your breath away. Cultural Zacatecas and Guanajuato Circuit

This 6-day circuit is a celebration of the National Holidays by touring some of the most iconic places in Mexico's history and culture. From the mountains and tunnels of Zacatecas to the Independence routes in Guanajuato, you will have an unforgettable experience in each destination.

You will begin your adventure in Zacatecas, a city known for its mining history and impressive colonial architecture. The first point of visit is Cerro de la Bufa, from where you can enjoy panoramic views of the city and learn about the history of the Mexican Revolution at the hill's museum. Next, you will take the Cable Car, a thrilling ride that will take you from Cerro de la Bufa to the Eden Mine. At the Eden Mine, you will go deep into the bowels of the earth to explore the ancient mining galleries that were once a source of wealth for the region.

The second day will take you to the nearby Pueblo Mágico of Guadalupe, famous for its impressive Guadalupe Convent, where you can appreciate sacred artwork and learn about the history of evangelization in the region. Back in Zacatecas, you will enjoy a tour on the Museobus, a mobile tour that will take you to the most important sites in the city, allowing you to immerse yourself in its rich history and culture.

The third day will take you to Guanajuato, a city full of charm and legends. The first stop will be the Mummy Museum, where you will see the famous collection of mummified bodies dating back to colonial times. The day continues with a tour of the tunnels, one of Guanajuato's most unique features, and the Zona de la Valencia, home to one of Mexico's oldest and richest mines. In the evening, you will participate in a traditional callejoneada, a fun night walk through the alleys of Guanajuato, accompanied by music and local legends.

The fourth day is dedicated to the Independence Route, beginning in Dolores Hidalgo, the birthplace of Mexico's Independence. Here, you will visit the parish where the priest Miguel Hidalgo gave the Grito de Dolores, marking the beginning of the struggle for independence. Then, you will head to Atotonilco, known for its Sanctuary of Jesus Nazareno, also called “The Sistine Chapel of America” for its impressive frescoes.

Day 5 will take you to San Miguel de Allende, a UNESCO World Heritage City famous for its colonial architecture, vibrant cultural life and colorful streets. Here you will explore the historic center, with its iconic San Miguel Arcangel Parish and enjoy the festive atmosphere in its plazas. Afterward, you will visit the highest vineyard in Mexico, located nearby. At this vineyard, you will not only learn about wine production in this region but also enjoy wine tasting, surrounded by beautiful scenery.
